What Is GHILLIEPUCK?

STEP 1

PUCK-PACKAGE

This is where it starts. Choose the style Puck-Package(s) that best suits your environment. The Puck-Package is everything you need to get started. This includes:

This allows your to hang it on a tree as a backdrop or strap it to your stand/ blind for extra cover.

STEP 2

PUCK-PLUG ADAPTOR

This is the completely custom adaptor that allows you to attach your GHILLIEPUCK 1/4" thread or accessory. This includes:

1 Twist-lock branch adaptor
2 branches
1/4" swivel ball head

Simply insert the Plug into the puck and screw it on to ANY 1/4-20 camera accessory!

Cost too much and falls apart

First of all I am a Veteran, retired police investigator. I have been hunting for almost 40 years. I have tested products for the military and law enforcement. Secondly, I would expect some kind of bag to carry everything in for the cost of what I bought. The puck inserts are loose and kept falling off. The tree leaf inserts slide out. Once everything is together, it looks good but if there is any wind, the pieces fall off. I spent too much time putting things back together than hunting. This is a good concept but the engineering needs work. Way too much money for a little bit of product that falls apart.

Ghillie puck

Cam lock system is very weak and you end up losing half of your branches by the time you get up the tree. Also rubber pads on clamps fall off first time . Clamps are not strong enough to support from tree stand. Good idea but needs work, i unfortunately bought 2 pucks and a extra set of leaves so I know it's not a one time mistake.

Works exactly as intended

I had a couple spots where trees didn’t have much cover at the 18-20’ mark. This gave me that cover, when used with the ez pic hanger, it’s great.
